ACTIV4.0: Operation and advanced asset management

The ACTIV4.0 project aims to develop advanced technological solutions that enable a transformation towards digital management of assets and processes in facilities and networks providing services related to water, energy, transport networks and waste in order to offer a better service to the customer/citizen. This will allow the optimisation of plants and networks in terms of efficiency and operating costs, as well as the improvement of maintenance processes to minimise problems and errors associated with this equipment.

In short, the ACTIV4.0 project is part of a strategy to develop new solutions based on the adaptation of monitoring, modelling, data processing and decision-making technologies to improve the management of assets, optimising the processes related to their maintenance, increasing their useful life and making it possible to offer a better service to the user/citizen, achieving a clearly disruptive transformation in asset management.

ACTIV4.0 is a project of the RIS3CAT Utilities 4.0 Community, coordinated by Eureca with the participation of 8 companies, including PICVISA. The objective of the Community is to transform the utilities sector (service provider networks) by identifying a set of tools and solutions that enable its digitalisation towards the utilities 4.0 concept and to create an industrial fabric through the development and application of these new solutions.

This project is funded by the European Regional Development Fund of the European Union under the ERDF Operational Programme 2014-2020.
