ECOFLOW: Artificial Intelligence for flow analysis

ECOFLOW is the PICVISA solution through which BRAIN comes into action. By applying a Deep Learning algorithm to camera recorded images, the flow analyzer allows an accurate classification of materials passing over a conveyor belt. This AI-based technology allows PICVISA’s customers to obtain valuable data for decision making.

As many RGB cameras as needed can be installed at different points in the process. Each device is controlled through PICVISA‘s software. An advanced software that generates and processes a large amount of information such as production statistics, data useful for quality control, trends, consumption habits or maintenance warnings, among other indicators. These are stored in the cloud and are accessible from the plant itself or even remotely.

Based on the pillars of predictive analytics and information monetization, it provides the fastest way to turn any plant and process into a plant 4.0.


A solution applicable to all types of industries

ECOFLOW is a solution that also stands out for its versatility. PICVISA‘s proposal is applicable to all types of industry, such as:

  • Feeding. Quality control at harvest or packaging stage. Food can be classified by the level of maturity at the harvest stage.
  • Textile. Allows sorting of different fabrics at the recycling stage or quality control at the production stage of new garments. For example, textile waste can be classified according to the percentage of polyester in the recycling phase.
  • Packaging. Quality control recycling of food packaging (such as tray monolayer and multilayer).
  • Automotive. Sorting of production leftovers (carpets, ejection parts, etc.). For example, it allows the accounting of the percentage of black plastics in end-of-life vehicle waste.

In addition, the hardware that is placed in the plant is very easy to install (plug and play) and is operational from day one. ECOFLOW is adaptable to any type of flow and, if necessary, it is also easy to relocate to different points in the plant.

With a 2-year warranty, ECOFLOW constantly monitors from minute 1 the flow at different points of a process and provides real-time information.


Equipment and Service: PICVISA Sales Modalities

Rather than buying the flow analyzer itself, what the customer does is to contract a data analysis and processing service provided by PICVISA using the innovative equipment based on the company’s technology.
