As a result of its distribution agreement for the ECOPACK line, PICVISA has delivered its first optical separation unit to the US market, through its distributor McLanahan.

A distribution agreement opens the door to a new market, but the first unit actually delivered is what turns that agreement into something concrete – a piece of equipment running on US soil, with US plant conditions, US material streams, and a US customer evaluating it in practice. For PICVISA, this first ECOPACK delivery through McLanahan represented the practical start of its presence in the US optical sorting market, building on the relationship that would also see PICVISA represented at events like Waste Expo New Orleans.

How this first unit performs in the field matters beyond the single installation – it sets the reference point for how PICVISA's ECOPACK line is positioned with future US customers that McLanahan introduces it to.
