Remaplast, a new project in Rome implemented by SCTECNO, is the second project to use PICVISA's optical sorting technology, following the REMASERVICE plant in San Giorgio a Liri.

A second project from the same integrator is a meaningful signal – SCTECNO had already worked with PICVISA's optics at REMASERVICE, and chose to specify the same technology again for Remaplast in Rome. Repeat business like this tends to reflect satisfaction with how the first installation performed in practice, as well as the integrator's familiarity with how PICVISA's equipment integrates into the kind of sorting lines SCTECNO builds.

For PICVISA, having its optical sorting technology specified across multiple projects by the same integrator in Italy helps build a track record within that market – one that later projects, including those that would follow in the country's glass recovery sector, could build on.
